For over 2 decades, ITP Taxes LLC has been helping income tax preparation clients in the Lancaster PA area smile at tax time.

Dave Shiley founded ITP Taxes after leaving one of the largest national tax preparation chains, with the goal of providing Lancaster PA area residents a friendlier and more personalized experience than what the larger firms offer. Dave is personally involved with the preparation of every income tax return that ITP Taxes files for our clients.

Dave Shiley is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and the Candy Factory. He is also a regular speaker on income tax-related topics at Lancaster community events.

2000

Dave Shiley trained and worked at HR Block. He also started ITP Taxes and served 7 clients in his first year.
2009

ITP Taxes became Dave’s full-time job.
2010

ITP Taxes joined The Candy Factory, and started to see an increase in self-employed and small business taxes.
2011

ITP Taxes had its best year on record and did 500 tax returns.
2015

ITP Taxes grew by 15 percent.
2018

ITP Taxes grew 20 percent.
2019

ITP Taxes became a S-Corp with 4 employees.
2020

ITP Taxes celebrated their 20^th year in business.
